In my master's thesis, I delve into the fascinating world where art meets digital technology. My primary resources are online platforms like the University of Universes and Google Arts and Culture. Interestingly, Google Arts and Culture's content, sourced largely from the Hayward Gallery, presents a unique intersection of digital space and physical place. This intersection raises intriguing questions about how art is curated and experienced in the digital era.

The online exhibition space, unlike a physical gallery, isn't bound by geographical constraints. It’s a digital realm where artworks, detached from their physical origin, find a new form of existence. This transformation challenges traditional notions of space and place in art. My thesis examines these digital platforms not just as repositories of art but as spaces that redefine the art-viewing experience.

While University of Universes offers a comprehensive but less tactile experience, Google Arts and Culture provides a more visual and immersive encounter. Together, they present a diverse perspective on art curation in the digital age. Additionally, independent art websites, like the one I'm developing, contribute to this rich digital tapestry. They offer curated experiences, enhancing the viewer's interaction with art beyond the physical limitations of traditional galleries.

My project aims to create a digital exhibition that not only showcases art but also invites the audience into a curated experience, similar to walking through an art gallery. This digital curation seeks to transcend the conventional, offering a new way to experience and interpret art in the context of space and place.
