Ymane Fakhir, originally from Casablanca, studied at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts there and in Aix-en-Provence, France. After gaining professional experience, she relocated to France and pursued her education at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts dâAix-en-Provence. She subsequently embarked on an exchange program at the Ecole Nationale de la photographie d’Arles, leading to her settlement in Marseille, where she began creating a collection of photographic and video pieces that explore her personal history and cultural heritage.
