Born in Paris in 1960 to a Congolese family, Patrice Felix Tchicaya is a fashion photographer who became acquainted with the world of fashion after moving to London.

He has also worked as a fashion photographer in New York and currently resides and works in Paris.Aside from his fashion photography, Tchicaya is also a creator of video, installation, poetry, and sound-musical composition. His work has been featured in numerous international exhibitions, such as "Africa Remix" in Johannesburg (2007), Tokyo (2006), Stockholm (2006), Paris (2005), London (2005), and Dusseldorf (2004), as well as "Black Paris" in Bayreuth (2006).
