Moataz Nasr is an Egyptian artist who has garnered attention on the international art scene since 2001. Initially studying economics, he shifted to pursue his passion for art, making his mark with a third prize win in a competition by the Egyptian Ministry of Culture in 1995. He founded Darb 1718, a contemporary art and culture center, aiming to advance contemporary art in Egypt.
